Prolotherapy

"Prolo" is short for proliferation, because the treatment causes the proliferation (growth, formation) of new ligament/tendon tissue in areas where it has become weak. Prolotherapy prompts your body to naturally heal damaged and degenerated tissues WITH OUT the use of steroids.  The majority of patients treated with Prolotherapy respond within 4-6 treatments depending on the health and vitality of the patient with the goal of increasing your activity level.

Nutrition is the cornerstone of Naturopathic Medicine. What we eat and drink has a profound effect on how we feel physically, mentally and emotionally. Nutrition can be used to optimize health as well as heal various illnesses. Research has shown that many medical conditions can be treated effectively with food and nutritional supplements with fewer complications and side effects.

Facial Acupuncture for anti-aging

Acupuncture is used today for a safer more healthful way to help decrease the effects of aging. Facial acupuncture in conjunction with cold laser over time can help decrease the wrinkles and tighten the facial muscles. In addition, recommendations about diet, lifestyle, nutritional and botanicals will be made depending on your specific needs.

Lifestyle Counseling and Stress Management

How we think and feel has a profound impact on our health. In order to achieve optimal health we need to make healthy lifestyle choices and learn to respond to stress in constructive ways. Changing bad habits can be difficult but over time the health benefits and how you feel will out weigh this challenge. Homeopathy

This gentle yet effective system of medicine is more than 200 years old and is widely accepted in many countries. It is based on the principle that like cures like. Homeopathic remedies are very small doses of natural substances that are diluted and potentized so they can stimulate the body's self-healing response without harmful side effects. Homeopathic remedies, when properly prescribed, affect the body’s “vital force” and strengthen its innate ability to heal. Some conditions for which conventional medicine has no effective treatments will respond well to homeopathy.

Cold Laser

Cold Laser is light or photon energy with the unique property of being able to penetrate up to two inches below the skin surface causing an increase in cellular metabolism with no tissue damage whatsoever. Low Level Laser is being used to treat a variety of painful and inflamed conditions of the soft tissues and joints such as carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, back pain, sport injuries. This therapy may be beneficial for valley fever.
The FDA has ruled that the therapy is safe. The only contraindication (warning) is for use directly in the eye.

IV Nutritional Therapy

IV (Intravenous) nutritional therapies may be recommended as part of your health program, to facilitate your recovery.  IV nutritional therapy consists of medical grade vitamins and minerals suspended in sterile water and administered intravenously.  This bipasses the digestion system to assure 100% absorption of nutrients. Some patients have impaired digestion/absorption or because of their illness (valley fever, heart disease, diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer, allergies, etc.) require both oral and intravenous nutritional therapies.  IV therapies are also useful in nutritional detoxification programs, immune stimulation or, simply, because of depletion of your body stores.
